MONDAY: Frankfort vs. Twin Lakes – 6:00 PM
There aren’t many games on Monday but one of the best ones of the day takes place at the J&C Hoops Classic. The matchup between Frankfort and Twin Lakes should be really solid with Frankfort having an advantage in the post with Carter Taylor and Twin Lakes owning the guard matchup with the Bennington Twins.
TUESDAY: Lawrence North vs. Park Tudor – 7:30 PM
When Lawrence North travels to Park Tudor, you are going to have a tough time trying to get a seat in the small gym near Broad Ripple. Lawrence North has yet to play a game so you aren’t sure how crisp they will be. On the other hand, Park Tudor is going to be guard dominant and might have enough shooting to make this an interesting game.
WEDNESDAY: Fishers vs. Indianapolis Manual – 7:30 PM
With only a handful of games on Wednesday night. Fishers traveling to Manual is the clear choice and would still be a top game on any other night of the year. Fishers might be looked at as an underdog but they have a ton of depth and will compete statewide. Manual is in the same boat as well. This matchup could turn out to be very entertaining with guys like Courvosier McCauley and Joseph Counts.
THURSDAY: Hammond Gavit vs. Lowell – 8:00 PM
The schedule is light on Thursday as well but Gavit is a solid team this year, however, going up against Lowell will be a tough game. Of the matchups, this is the one that could be the most entertaining. Lowell has already beaten Hanover Central and did it convincingly. They could be one of the better teams in the state this year with a potential to get to the second weekend of the tournament.
FRIDAY: Pike vs. Ben Davis – 7:30 PM
The Pike-Ben Davis game is always one of the most entertaining games you will see all year. This year will have a different dynamic as Pike is looking to replace their entire backcourt from last year and Ben Davis is setup to be really successful. It is always a close game, no matter what, and should be that again this year.
SATURDAY: Evansville Bosse vs. Logansport – 6:30 PM
This is a new game added to the schedule for these teams and it should be really good. Bosse is loaded with guards and wings and normally that would be a problem against a 4A school. However, Logansport is in the same spot and they can match the speed and athleticism of Bosse. This should be a high-scoring game with tons of excitement.
