Missouri Prospects
Marcedus Leech 6’5″ Poplar Bluff: The lanky scoring machine took home Most Valuable Player honors from the showcase. His offensive game was on full display as he dropped home several 3-pointers off the catch and off the dribble. Leech also got to the rim and scored and created space to knock down mid range jumpers.
Jamonta Black 6’2″ Rock Bridge: A smooth ball handling guard who displayed a lot of offensive skills, especially off the dribble. He has a quick first step that covers a lot ground when getting to the basket. He compliments his ability to drive with a nice stroke from 3-point range.
Regional and National Prospects
Zach Harvey 6’5″ Topeka Hayden (KS): A national level talent with the ideal size and skill set to make him the prototype shooting guard. He scored on easy drives to the basket and displayed some nice handles that had opposing defenders on skates. He was selected to the Top 20 All-Star Game.
Clarence King 6’3″ Lawrence (KS): King is an active southpaw who plays with a high motor. He was a tireless runner in transition and he moves well without the ball. He knows how to get buckets without having the ball in his hands a lot.
Noah Butler 6’4″ Lawrence (KS): The well-built youngster is a strong physical player who was really getting after it on the defensive end. He scored on several tough drives to the basket and even rose up and threw down a couple of dunks as well.
