So far he has gotten offered from Dakota College at Bottineau (ND) along with DePauw University and Franklin College expressing interesting in having him on campus next fall. He has visited DePauw, Franklin, and Huntington University with a visit scheduled for Wabash College on October 24th.
Froedge said that he had a lot of fun on the AAU circuit this past year and he thought that that helped in his recruiting.
“I played for Spiece Indy Heat Red. I thought it went great, we won a lot of games, I scored and shot the ball well, and had a lot of fun playing with the guys on the team.”
Froedge knows that even though he had a good summer he needs to work on some stuff in order to stick at the next level.
“I am working on all aspects of my game, but specifically getting stronger and working on my ball-handling.”
College coaches have been taking notice of the fact that he improved from the start of the summer to the end and it is paying dividends to what the coaches are saying they like about his game.
“They really like my skill set, my shooting ability, the ability I have to make my teammates better, and how I handle the ball.”
Froedge will gain more interest from some of the smaller schools this winter and as of right now he knows mostly what he wants in a future program.
“I am looking for a place with a family type atmosphere, a place where I could earn a good education and a basketball program and coach that values my game, but also a coach that pushed me to become a better person and player.”
