Continue ReadingThe 140th ranked player in the 2017 class had a good summer of AAU ball. Danny Goggans a 6’3 forward from Cathedral is looking to improve his stock this winter after a solid summer. Danny has a load of visits lined up for the coming months.
“I’ve been talking to a lot of schools. I take a visit to Franklin College and Huntington University this month and next month I take a visit to Aurora University in Illinois, Alma College, Hope College and Adrian College, all in Michigan,” Danny said.
The fact that so many out of state colleges are interested in Danny proves that his stock is hot at this time and will only continue to rise as he gets back into playing basketball this fall and winter as he has a stress fracture in his back right now. Danny is on the mend though and things couldn’t be going better for him.
“It’s been going good. I’ve just been getting back into the swing of things basketball wise. I still do rehab with my trainers at school, but I’m progressing well and will be ready for the beginning of the season. I’m even planning on playing in a fall league. I’m doing all the workouts and open gyms, and I rehab during the day when I have weight training,” Danny said.
Danny is unsure of where he will end up just yet but you can be sure that he will have lots of offers come winter time and a school will come calling that he is interested in.
“I would prefer a school that has small class sizes and I want to major in Psychology.”
