The inaugural Prep Hoops Missouri Top 250 Expo will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Center of St. Louis. More than 200 players are expected to attend the Top 250 Expo with a chance to grow their games through individual skill work and game competition.
Here is a preview of the top 2017 point guards and combo guards who will be participating in the Top 250 Expo:
Jaiden Bristol 5’11” St. Joe Central: An excellent floor general who does a little bit of everything for his team. Bristol is part of one of the top senior backcourts in the state with fellow guard Matt Austin. An all-purpose player who can score, facilitate, rebound and defend. He averaged 15 points, four rebounds and two assists a game as a junior.
Preston Wuebker 6’1″ Advance: The talented combo guard is the top returning player for Advance, who has one of the top Class 1 teams in the state. Wuebker is a solid ball handler and an excellent perimeter shooter.
Kevin Butler 5’9″ Webster Groves: A small quick point guard who is an excellent defender for one of top defensive teams in the state. He doesn’t mind picking up an opposing ball handler and harassing him up and down and court.
Lemonte Bell 6’1″ Caruthersville: Talented guard who returns after helping Caruthersville to a Class 3 district championship and a berth in the state quarterfinals. He averaged 15 points and six assists a game as a junior.
Keion McGuire 6’0″ McCluer North: A physical point guard who is very strong with the ball and can play through contact on his way to the basket. He is also a capable shooter on the move.
