Here are some of the top forwards to watch at Parkway North:
Alec Spence 6’5″ MICDS ’17: Smooth perimeter scorer who averaged 18 points a game as a junior to lead the Rams to the Metro League championship. Excellent jump shooter with 3-point range.
Xavier Womack 6’5″ Cardinal Ritter ’17: Long, athletic combo forward with a versatile skill set and a high motor. One of the Lions’ top returning players from a 23-5 team that advanced to the Class 3 state quarterfinals.
Brandon Bassham 6’4″ Troy ’17: Strong combo forward who returns after averaging 16 points, eight rebounds and two blocks a game. Has developed his perimeter game after spending much of his career in the post.
A.J. Sommer 6’5″ Parkway South ’18: Versatile combo forward who plays well in the low post, but can also step out and knock down high post jumpers and 3-pointers. Starting to receive some interest from Division I schools.
Cameron Lenoir 6’6″ Timberland ’18: An intriguing prospect who is starting to develop. Has good length and athleticism, which enables him to be an effective shot blocker. Has a big up side.
Jack Mullen 6’6″ Parkway South ’18: Solid post player who returns after averaging seven points and four rebounds a game as a sophomore. He is a good rebounder and can finish well around the basket.
