The 6’3 guard got the call in July that the University of Indianapolis was extended an offer to play for them. Now, heading into the Fall, more schools are on board with interest and looking at Coyle as a possible offer candidate.
Chance called the offer from Indianapolis “incredible” and “very humbling.” While only his first and early offer, Coyle does know the program a bit and has been on campus already.
“I’ve watched them play against Southern Indiana,” Coyle said of Indianapolis. “I really liked the way they played and the facilities are nice.”
While the DII program is the first to offer, there are quite a few other programs in the mix right now for Coyle. Schools like Air Force, Evansville, Indiana State, Austin Peay, and William & Mary are showing interest. Right now, Coyle is looking to take a pair of visits this Fall. One to University of Indianapolis, the other to possibly Ball State.
This summer was a successful one for Coyle as he ran with Indiana Elite 2018. He showed a bit more of his game from the guard spot than previously as he handle the ball and pressure really well while still being able to create scoring opportunities in the half court. His size gives him some advantages and he does well to take them.
I really enjoyed playing with Indiana Elite and all the traveling and getting to spend time with my friends was fun,” Coyle said of his summer. “I look forward to next year.”
