Eric Krus 6’6″ Vianney: A talented Stretch 4 who has the ability to space the floor with his excellent 3-point shooting. Krus also has some good moves and a nice shooting touch around the basket. Krus was also active on the glass, which continued from his summer of outstanding rebounding. He will have to carry a big load this season for the Golden Griffins.
Chris Jordan 6’6″ Fort Zumwalt South: The senior power forward enjoyed an excellent camp with his athleticism and activity around the basket. Jordan did a nice job of scoring and rebounding in the paint. He also displayed a nice shooting touch out to 15 feet. He seemed to play with great purpose and focus and he got the results.
Tyler Sales 6’4″ Pattonville: A skilled wing player with good size and length on the perimeter. Sales looked very smooth at times with his handles and ability to knock down jumpers off the dribble. He is also a good shooter off the catch. Tyler has a lot of natural talent and I would like to see him reach down a little bit more to bring it out by being more assertive.
Here are a few 2017 standouts from outside of Missouri who were very good at the Elite Camp:
Ramar Evans 6’2″ Loyola Academy (IL): A strong, physical point guard who was tough off the dribble and had the ability to get to the basket and score through contact.
Trevor Lakes 6’6″ Lebanon (IN): An outstanding jump shooter who was getting buckets on the perimeter throughout the camp. He was shooting it off the catch, in transition and in the pick and pop.
Doug Wallen 6’4″ Champaign Central (IL): A physical, athletic post player who is a strong finisher around the basket. He is very skilled and active and he plays with a high motor. Excellent productivity.
