Jordan Lathon 6’4″ Grandview (2018): A very athletic combo guard who competes at a high level. Lathon has excellent handles and can get to the basket pretty much whenever he wants to. When a defender cuts him off, he can stop on a dime and knock down a mid-range jumper. He is also a very willing and energetic defensive player. He has received a lot of Division I interest and a few offers as well.
Jamichael Morgan 6’4″ Blue Valley Northwest (KS): A dynamic athlete who plays with a high motor at all times. The kid has plenty of talent, which may be surpassed by his relentless drive. Morgan begins the game in attack mode and does not stop until the final buzzer. He is great in transition and can really finish around the rim, even through contact.
Isiah Sears 6’7″ Life Prep (KS): A former Lee’s Summit standout who is doing a year of prep school. A slender Stretch 4 who can knock down 3-pointers, but can also put the ball on the floor and get buckets on the drive. His post-up game was also very efficient with his length and nice shooting touch. Had an excellent turnaround jumper.
Isaiah Wilson 6’0″ Father Tolton: Talented point guard who did an excellent job as a facilitator. Has excellent quickness and a nice set of handles. He has the ability to get buckets when the time comes. Does a very good job of creating separation with slick dribble moves to create his own shot on the perimeter. Has a feathery touch from long distance.
Dru Smith 6’2″ Park Hill: A long and athletic wing player who was a force on the defensive end. He was tremendous in the team’s trapping defense with his anticipation and ability to cover the court. He loved the challenge of stopping opposing scorers. Offensively, he is at his best when slashing to the basket and getting out in transition.
