Wesley Sharp 6’6″ (Ellington): A slender wing player who is making an excellent transition from the post to the perimeter. Sharp displayed a nice set of handles and shot the 3-pointer quite well. He looked very comfortable as the team’s primary ball handler and passer. He also flashed some nice athleticism with a couple of impressive dunks. With his size and versatility, this can be one of the top sleeper prospects in the 2017 class.
Dawson Mayo 6’4″ (Advance): A rugged post player, Mayo was one of the most physical performers that I watched during the day. At a rock solid 220 pounds, Mayo was more than willing to battle for post position and mix it up inside. When he got the ball, he was able to finish in the lane. I was also very impressed with his passing ability. Did an excellent job of finding open teammates from the high post.
Marshon Morrisey 6’4″ (Ellington): Nicknamed “Big Baby,” the 240-pound Morrisey is a hard-working power forward who did a lot of damage in the low post. He utilized his strength and footwork to dominate in the lane. He also displayed some sneaky athleticism as he attempted a few tip dunks in traffic. He is also an excellent offensive rebounder with good second-jump ability.
