Rose projects as one of the top Division II recruits in the state of Oklahoma in the 2017 Class. He has a smooth game with a lefty touch at the two. Rose plays good defense on the wing with the talent to guard multiple positions. One the past two years Rose has developed into a player who Tulsa Memorial can count on to score the basketball.
Rose plays for Gym Time Hoops during the summer. He has high goals for the July live periods.
“My goal this AAU season is just to wake more people up,” Rose said. Ultimately, I want to get seen by more colleges.”
Rose credits a lot of his success on the court to his hard work each day.
“I’m working to get better on everything,” Rose said. “You got to get better everyday with something.”
Rose has the ability to switch speed at a moments notice. He has a really calm and smooth game. Rose has heard from a couple of high Division II programs as well as a few small Division I programs.
The past two seasons have ended in heartbreak for Tulsa Memorial and Rose. He is motivated this season to finish on top with a State Championship in Class 5A.
“My number one goal is to get back to the state championship and win it,” Rose said. “I also want to get my teammates better each day.”
