“I think the spring has gone pretty well,” Ethan told NHR. “Our team has played pretty well and beat some good teams, I think we’re like 22-9 right now which is much better than last year’s team. I’m working on a lot of ball-handling things and starting to lift more… I’m also working on shooting and getting my shot off quicker and more consistently, along with finishing with my left as well as I do with my right.”
Ethan reports college interest from Bethel, St. Scholastica, Augsburg, St. Olaf, Southwest MN State, and invites to UM-Duluth, SCSU, and Augustana camps. The biggest factors to his recruitment are location, education, winning, playing style, good coach, and a close-knit team.
His WOTN coach, Blake Nicols, says that Ethan’s best attributes on the court are that he’s an “absolute pest defensively and a great straight-line driver. He started most of the year as Lakeville North’s point guard and was a beast in the middle of the season.”
NHR will continue to track Ethan’s progress, as there’s a good chance that we’ll be seeing him and the Panthers well into the post-season, as we usually do.
