The Paradise Valley High School Trojans return a fantastic starting backcourt duo under long time head coach Mark MacGowan.
Point guard Terriq Tshaka (2017) 5’10—excellent defender, quick and athletic, and an excellent playmaker. Averaged 9 points and 5 assists per game as a junior that led the team to the state final four.
Combo guard Tashon Brown (2018)—6’0 terrific all-around player. Tashon was instrumental in the success of the 2016 PV Trojans. Tashon averaged 10 ppg, 4.5 assists, 5 rebs, and 2 steals per game. Excellent shooter.
Jordan Morris—-(2018)—Looking for a breakout season. 6’2 combo guard who is an excellent shooter. Jordan will have the opportunity to shine with the graduation of four seniors.
Cole Murphy—-(2018)—6’2 wing player…..very quick and athletic. Cole has the ability to knock down shots, rebounds well, and runs the floor exceptionally well.
Logan Gallaga—(2018) wing/post player……6’4 athletic and physical. Logan will have to bring a post presence for the Trojans next year. Logan was the leading scorer from a 14-4 JV Team last year.
Bric Hudnutt—(2018) 6’4 post player….terrific rebounder and banger. Bric plays with a high motor.
Dalvin Johnson—(2017) 6’1 and extremely physical. Transferred in from Cesar Chavez prior to last year. Dalvin plays with a high motor and is crafty with the ball and knows how to use his body to score in the paint.
Trent Miller—-(2018) 6’0 shooting guard. Terrific shooter from the 3 point line.
The Trojans look to work hard this summer and have some fun. The Trojans host the PVHS Summer League. The Trojans will be playing in the Anthem Shootout, San Diego State Team Camp, the Super 64, and AZ Christian Team Camp.
