An athletic 6-foot-6, 185-pound wing player, Davis has earned a reputation for his ability to do a little bit of everything. This past season, he helped Grandview to a 17-10 record and an appearance in the championship game of the Missouri Class 4 District 14 tournament. He led the squad with 17.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, was second on the squad with 3.1 assists and led the team with 2.5 steals per game.
Davis shot 52 percent from the field, was second on the team in 3-pointers made and was far-and-away the team’s leader in free throw attempts.
“I would describe my game as a all around game very athletic some things I do well on the basketball court is get the team involved and score,” he said. “I am focused on working on everything because you can’t be perfect.”
Davis is currently running with Kansas City based Run GMC and has helped the squad to a 6-2 start in the Under Armour Association. He is leading the squad in scoring at 11.1 points per game, shooting 52 percent from the field and is second on the team in rebounding at 5.6 per game.
“Some of our highlights was beating Atlanta Express we are second and our division,” he said.
Davis said he is currently hearing from several NCAA Division I schools.
Davis, who says he is a fan of Lebron James, also says his father and brothers have been the biggest influence on his basketball career to date.
“As I was growing up I seen all of them go through the phases of what I need to do to go Division 1 and go further on,” he said.
