“It was a great experience for me getting to play against some good competition and getting to play with some of the best players in North Dakota,” Jayden said. “It took me a game or two to adapt to it all but after that it was just like going out and playing any other basketball game.”
Komrosky and the Phenom have competed in five events and have four to go. They have about four weeks before things get started again and Jayden has goals of what he would like to accomplish.
“I want to improve on getting to the rim and finishing with contact. I’ve improved on my pull-up jumpers and 3 point shooting. My goals are to get better and stronger and to hopefully win a tournament or two.”
Jayden has a nice grouping of schools that are following him who would like him to play for them in college.
“North Dakota State, University of Mary, Jamestown, Concordia-Moorhead, and Lake Region,” Jayden said. “I’m not sure where I would like to go yet and I’m undecided on a major.”
Jayden and the Phenom will be Iowa at the Midwest Summer Start-up at the end of the month and then in July they will be in Milwaukee for the NY2LA, at the Hardwood Classic in KC, and they are still working on another event for the middle of the month.
