As a sophomore at Grandview, Carter-Crooks came off the Bulldog bench and provided a spark for a squad that went 17-10 and captured a district title.
He said recently in an interview that he views himself as an all-around player who, “Loves to dunk on people.”
At 6-foot-4, 225-pounds, Crook-Jones excels at attacking the rim and finishing above the rim. He is spending the summer working on his jump shot as he competes for the Keys.
“My summer with them so far has been good,” he says.
Crook-Jones is also a standout football player as a tight end and defensive end and already has drawn an offer from Iowa State.
He says his mother has had the biggest impact of his athletic career and says he would love to, “Play LeBron James one-on-one.
“I tried to take Lebron’s moves to the rim.”
