Isaac Combs
6’5 – PF – Bloomfield – Indiana Elite Central 2018
Isaac is a tall wing who is only starting to put his game together. A wing that is adept moving around the floor and filling different roles. Combs’ size lends him to play more of a forward who could defend the 3,4, or 5 in college if he hits his ceiling. Combs is a solid shooter as well and can stretch the floor on the offensive side of the ball.
Akuei Mading
6’4 – SF – Indianapolis International – Indiana Elite Central 2018
Akuei is a small forward with a developing game and some upside. He’s got the size you like on the perimeter and he’s shown the ability to shoot a bit. As he gets better as a jump shooter, more things should start coming easily. Very mobile and long and has stretches where his aggresiveness can be a great asset but, like most, that has to be drawn out more often.
Chayton Howard
6’4 – SF – Edgewood – Indiana Elite Central 2018
Chayton had a solid winter with Edgewood and is pressing himself against tougher competition. He’s thin-framed and long but has to bulk up over the next year. He’s a guy who can create off the bounce if given time. He can shoot a bit and as that part of his game grows, he adds that strength, he should start to take off a bit.
Jaylen Gilbert
6’4 – SF – Renssaeler Central – Indiana Dawgz 2018 Brankin
Jaylen is a tall wing who is starting to transition to that spot on the floor. Jaylen’s shooting is really improving and making him a difficult matchup. He’s shown flashes this spring as a creator who can slash and cut to the rim where, with limited dribbles, can finish well. If he continues the strides he has made from last year, he could be one of the bigger risers in the class.
Glen Rouch
6’4 – SF – Boonville – Kell Hoops Academy
Glen is a well-built, strong wing who likes to attack the rim again and again. He has solid handles but his body is what really allows him to go as he can bully his way to the rim. Rouch has a solid mid-range game where he can pullup, use a floater or runner, and even continue on through to the rack. Will be a good scoring piece to watch in the class.
