Each year, the DMVelite Super Team Showcase plays host to a number of the areas most well respected programs. This year is no different, as a large number of the top 14U-17U teams in the area will be featured at two-day event in Bowie, Maryland. Saturday, the 14U and 15U teams will be showcased at Holy Trinity School, while Sunday's festivities will occur at Bowie City Gymnasium. Below is a brief rundown of what to expect.

Team Durant 15U

X Factor: 6-foot-5 freshman Brandon Joyner was an instrumental part of Team Takeover's championship run at Pitt Jam Fest. X Factor: As the leading scorer for Christ Chapel this year, freshman guard Domenick Bailey demonstrated a solid skill set to go along with a great deal of poise. Team Melo 15U

SCHEDULE  vs. DC Blue Devils - Court 1 @10:10AM vs. Team Durant - Court 2 @12:30M Players to Watch: James Bishop, Amani Walker, Jason Murphy, Will Thomas, Jay Willis. X Factor: 6-foot-3 combo guard Jay Willis is a strong guard who defends baseline to baseline, which is why he is a difference-maker.

DC Blue Devils 15U

SCHEDULE  vs. Team Melo - Court 1 @10:10AM vs. Team Takeover Black 14U - Court 1 @2:50PM Players to Watch: Marvin Price, Christian Depollar, James Lee. X Factor: With a recent offer from Virginia Tech, it won't be long before 2019 DeMatha guard Marvin Price emerges as a household name in the DMV.

SCHEDULE  vs. DC Premier - Court 1 @12:30PM vs. DC Blue Devils - Court 2 @2:50PM Players to Watch: Chase Davis, Joshua Hardy, Amari Bell, Justin Graham, Darius Johnson. X Factor: Chase Davis' aggressiveness on both ends of the court has been evident. As the leading scorer of this team, his ability to create his own shot makes a huge impact.

VA Elite 16U

SCHEDULE  vs. Uncommon Bulls - Court 2 @1:40PM vs. Maryland 3D - Court 1 @4:00PM Players to Watch: Langston Gaither, Sterling Anthony, Elijah Bowens, Hunter Bailey, William Mulquin, Josh Oduro. X Factor: Maret School sophomore Elijah Bowens brings good two-way versatility, as he loves to create for his teammates but is a capable shooter from mid and long range. He is also a solid defender with good instincts.

Uncommon Bulls 16U

SCHEDULE  vs. VA Elite - Court 2 @1:40PM vs. Maryland 3D - Court 1 @6:20PM Players to Watch: Shyheim Gilkerson, Ephraim Reed, Cam Savage, Myles Jones, Qudus Wahab, Milos Vasilic. X Factor: With an offer already from Clemson, 6-foot-11 freshman Qudus Wahab continues to develop at a rapid pace. He gained beneficial experience during Virginia Academy's state title run this year.

DC Blue Devils 16U

SCHEDULE  vs. Randallstown Running Rebels - Court 1 @5:10PM vs. The District - Court 2 @7:30PM Players to Watch: Kenny Tyree, Donald Brewer, Frank Evans, Babayel Dia, Jordan Huntley, Evan Tebay, Darius Buchanan, DeAndre Anderson. X Factor: 6-foot-5 forward Donald Brewer has been on a tear this spring. He is averaging 22 points per game over the course of his team's last two tournaments.

Team Melo 16U

Team Melo, Vantage Hoops SCHEDULE  vs. New World - Court 1 @10:10AM vs. Randallstown Running Rebels - Court 1 @1:40PM Players to Watch: Montez Mathis, Noah Locke, Demetrius Mims, Wynston Tabb, Isaiah Borders. X Factor: 6-foot-4 sophomore Montez Mathis gained a great deal of experience as a national champion with Oak Hill. X Factor: 6-foot-4 Paul VI sophomore Devon Sims broke out at Pitt Jam Fest, producing at a high rate offensively while exhibiting a high defensive activity level. X Factor: In his first 8 games on the Under Armour Circuit, 2018 Georgetown Prep PG Jared Bynum has been exceptional. He leads the team in scoring, averaging just under 13 points per game. X Factor: Possibly the best shooter nationally in 2017, Andre Rafus blends a terrific mix of skill and athleticism. At 6-foot-9, he has a unique ability to put the ball in the basket.

Team Takeover Orange 17U

SCHEDULE  vs. Baltimore United Gold - Court 2 @9:00AM vs. VA Elite - Court 2 @12:30PM Players to Watch: David Garey, Keleaf Tate, Jamie Pasha, Shaq Diboti-Lobe, Bryan Boehlert, Terrence Lewis, Arminas Kleisys. X Factor: 6-foot-5 Bishop Ireton junior Jamie Pasha is a high IQ guard who competes, and contributes in a variety of areas on both ends of the floor. X Factor: 6-foot-7 wing Charles Snowden's ability to guard multiple positions is a big luxury for this team. X Factor: 6-foot-4 wing Nick Albert gained valuable experience as a state champ with Westfield. The lanky junior has a solid frame to go along with a high motor.
