It’s also why he is rated the No. 4 prospect in the state by Prep Hoops Indiana for the class of 2018. While he has no official offers, college programs have already taken notice of his scoring ability and what he could offer.
“I’m a very good scorer and I’m a big guard and ever since I was young I knew how to play like a guard and my size is a big factor for it,” Anderson said.
His shooting from outside is a big key for why he can score. Not many guards can get a hand up to limit his shooting with his length and it allows him clean looks at the basket.
He is also looking to continue improving his game inside and in other areas.
“I’m working on my defense, most important, and going to the boards more often,” Anderson said. “Then just make sure I get my team involved, make sure I’m playing hard every play of the game.”
With it still being early in his recruitment, Anderson hasn’t thought about where he may take unofficial or official visits. He did say he is looking for a college program that can continue to make him a better player and while looking for that he will continue to push himself because of his desire to win.
“I just know I love to win, I hate to lose,” Anderson said. “Know my teammates need me and just want to make sure my teammates get the win.”
