“I had a very successful senior season, we ended up taking 2nd in the EDC and losing in the semifinals at state to Minot who was a very good team who ended up winning the championship,” Carson said.
“The thing I’ll remember most about this year is the road trips with my teammates who I’ve been with since about 4th grade and playing against all of my AAU friends I’ve made over the years.”
Carson became a leader both vocally and by his actions earning the respect of his teammates.
“I improved as a leader on the court and learning more about the game. And I’ll have to keep shooting this summer in order to improve my 3-point shot even more and I’ll have to work on getting in the weight room.”
Where will Carson go next year? That choice will soon be made. A number of schools are hoping to bring the 6-foot-3 worker in.
“Jamestown and Lake Region contacted me but the main two colleges that talk to me are St. Olaf and Concordia,” said Dennis.
“I’ve visited both Concordia and St. Olaf and will probably decide within the next two weeks or so.”
