“The two, three, four, there’s a lot of different things I can play,” Brown said. “Whatever opportunity I get, I’ll take it whether that be in the post of on the wing and I’m just staying focused and working in the gym to help prepare for that.”
This potential has already drawn the 6-foot-6 forward interest from South Dakota and IUPUI, and he has also had coaches from Michigan State and Xavier that have watched him in practice. He doesn’t have any official offers but hopes this summer can begin to see the potential he could offer.
“Coaches like my hunger and my aggressiveness on the boards and my ability to score and my athleticism,” Brown said.
His scoring includes strength in the post and the ability to take a jumpshot away from the basket. It’s also a commitment to growing and working hard in the game that could bring him increased interest.
“I’m just staying in the gym, keeping focus and coming out here trying to play hard and trying to get buckets,” Brown said. “I really like my team and we’re out here playing hard and just having fun.”
Brown hasn’t taken unofficial visits yet and said he will start looking to do so after the summer if he begins to hear from more colleges.
