Mario McKinney 6’0″ (Gateway): Super Mario was selected the Prep Hoops Most Valuable Player of the tournament after leading Gateway to the championship. McKinney is running the point for Gateway this summer. He did an excellent job of setting the pace for an athletic team with his speed and quickness. Made good decisions and knocked down perimeter jumpers.
Derez Tipler 5’10” (SEMO Bulls): A strong point guard with good speed and quickness. Tipler can get to the basket and score off of his dribble penetration. He plays with a lot of pace and energy and he likes to defend as well.
Courtland Soll 6’0″ (Rocktown): Very talented point guard with slick handles and the ability to get to the basket and score. He has a high basketball IQ and his passing and court vision was among the best I’ve seen among the guards during the weekend. Strong body who gets wherever he wants to go on the court.
Damien Loyd 5’10” (Rocktown): Another very good point guard who forms a nice backcourt combination with Soll. Although small, he is quick and plays a very smooth game. Handles the ball well and has the ability to create shots for himself either getting in the lane of for pull up jumpers. Good perimeter shooter.
Marcus Washington 6’2″ (Gateway): Explosive swing guard who attacks the rim with zeal and ferocity. Athleticism enables him to be an excellent rebounder from the guard position. Has the ability to be a real lock-down defender.
Evan Asleson 5’10” (Gateway): A nice point guard who plays with a lot of confidence with the ball. He handles the ball well and can really shoot the ball. Made a number of 3-pointers, but he can create space and make a few jumpers off the dribble. Savvy.
Eathan Kilgore 6’5″ (KC Pacers): A member of the 2020 Class who will enter high school in the fall. He can handle the ball and is a fine perimeter shooter. Plays with a lot of poise and savvy for a young player. Will attend East Buchanan High.
Aurelio Stucco 6’2″ (Missouri Impact): Young wing player who has good size and good skill level. He did a good job handling the ball and getting a lot of positive things done in the mid-range area.
