Roman Wilson 6’9″ (KC Pacers): An emerging young big who is developing into a top level prospect. Has good length to go along with his great size. Moves well up and down the court and has very good skills around the basket. Catches the ball well and has a nice shooting touch. Definitely one of the top bigs in the state’s Class of 2019.
Idris Mitchell 6’8″ (Gateway): A native of Henderson, KY, the slender Mitchell was an active force in helping Gateway win the tournament championship. A long and active athlete who attacks the boards with zeal and scores around the basket. Also ran the court well and converted dunks in transition.
Dominique Hardimon 6’3″ (SEMO Bulls): A bruising young forward who plays with a lot of activity and an endless motor. He is strong around the basket and not afraid to take the action to opposing players, regardless of size. An excellent athlete who threw down a number of dunks in transition. Loved watching him compete.
Deandre Davis 6’2″ (SEMO Bulls): Another undersized, yet active, high-energy forward who plays with a great motor. He and front-court partner Hardimon formed a relentless pair that bullied opponents throughout the weekend. Very active on the boards and very productive in the lane.
Luther Taylor 6’4″ (Gateway): An agile forward who does his best work around the basket. Very explosive player who threw down some impressive dunks in the half court offense.
Eric Lahm 6’8″ (Gateway): A long post player who had is weekend cut short by an injury during the first day. Was very impressed with his skill set in the low post and his shooting touch. Moves quite well. With added strength, will grow into a nice prospect.
Moses Opkala 6’7″ (Gateway): A strong low post force at about 240 pounds, Opkala is a work in progress, but he enjoyed some good moments during the weekend. Did his best work on the offensive boards when he powered his way for buckets.
