Riley Halley (Iberia, 2016):
Athletic wing with a versatile skill set and the ability to do multiple things on the court. Halley, also a standout baseball player who has signed to play at Jefferson College, averaged 22.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, shot nearly 75 percent from the field and made 20 3-pointers. At the Final Four, Halley had 14 points and a game-high 16 boards in a semifinal win over Bloomfield, then added 17 points in the championship game against Hartville.
Dexter Frisbie (Iberia, 2016):
Big man who has signed to play at Missouri Southern Frisbie, battled foul trouble in both the semifinals and championship. He averaged 20.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, shot 72 percent from the field and made 77 free throws this season. Had 18 points in 18 minutes to lead Iberia before fouling out against Bloomfield in the semifinals.
Dune Piper (Hartville, 2017):
Kid might be the best on-ball defender you’ll see at the small school level. Really gets after it and makes things difficult for opposing teams to get into an offense. His numbers may not be eye-popping (averaged 9.0 points), but he is as important a player as there was to his teams success at the Final Four. Had five steals against Wellington-Napoleon in the semifinals. Added 11 points and four rebounds in the championship game.
Deric Jones (Hartville, 2017):
Athletic wing player who was second on the team in scoring this season at 14.5 points and led the squad in rebounding at 6.1 boards. At 6-foot-1, Jones plays much bigger than his height due to his leaping ability. Had 10 points in 17 minutes before fouling out in the championship game.
Ryan Ward (Hartville, 2016):
Skilled offensive player who also brought some much needed size to the Eagle lineup at 6-foot-3. Ward averaged a team-high 17.3 points and added 5.8 rebounds. Made 48 3s and shot 43 percent from 3-point range this season. Had a game-high 26 points on 11 for 12 shooting, including a 3 for 3 performance from 3 against Wellington-Napoleon in the semifinals. Had 15 points and nine rebounds to lead Hartville in the championship.
Grant Dedmon (Hartville, 2016):
Talented scorer had 13 points, including a 9 for 11 performance at the free throw line. Averaged 12,6 points per game this season and was second on the Eagles in 3-point shooting.
Noah Vandiver (Bloomfield, 2016):
Athletic, 6-foot-3 forward that can play inside and out. Averaged 15.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game to lead the Wildcats. Led all scorers in the semifinals with 27 points and added nine rebounds before fouling out in a semifinal loss to Iberia. Had a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds in 26 minutes in a third-place loss to Wellington-Napoleon before fouling out.
