Grandview Bulldogs
Tyrese Davis (6-5, 2017): The Bulldogs leading scorer at 17.7 ppg this season, Davis stuffs the stat sheet as he also averages 5.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals. In an athletic wing, and though he is listed as a forward, is a versatile player that can play inside and out. Showed off his athleticism with a pair of highlight reel dunks.
Jordan Lathon (6-2, 2018): Bring calm and a steady hand at the point to the game. Is seemingly always under control, gets the team in its sets and displays good leadership skills. Has size and length and has the potential to be a high level defender at the next level.
Darrius Walker (6-5, 2016): Big man with an intriguing game. Is a terrific and willing passer who looks to set up his teammates. Is among the team’s leaders in assists. Can shoot the 3 and made three in the loss to Raytown South.
Sheldon Stevens (6-0, 2016): Slight of build guard, but Stevens competes hard and is the team’s second leading scorer this season at 10 points per game.
Raytown South
Hezekiah Goodwin (5-10, 2016): Might be one the fiercest competitors you’ll see in high school sports. Just gets after you defensively and makes things happen. Offensively, he has a knack for making big shots from the perimeter and shoots without conscience. Can also get to the bucket and finish in traffic. Is definitely a kid that is flying under the radar.
Savon Witt (6-5, 2018): His offensive game appears raw yet, but Witt is a long, athletic player who is full of upside. Had some good moments offensively late in Saturday’s game, attacking the basket along the baseline, but was at his best cleaning up the defensive boards and mixing it up with Grandview.
Tyree Sorrells (6-0, 2017): Might be as good an athlete as you’ll see at a guard position, really plays above the rim. Is a steady hand at the guard position, but was seldom in attack mode on Saturday. He did have some moments getting into the lane and creating and was all over the court defensively.
