Aurora Houn Dawgs
Logan Bader (6-5, 2016): Long, rangy athlete with a great basketball frame. Is a terrific athlete and is at his best in the open floor where he displays terrific body control with athletic finishes. Has a nice mid-range game with the ability to knock down jumpers with ease. Likely an NAIA prospect.
Austin Carmichael (6-4, 2016): Is a big frame kid with terrific size. Has a very different style of play as a big guard. Can play the point, can play in the post. Is a strong player in the paint. Has really improved his 3-point shot and is among the team’s best outside shooters. Likely an NAIA prospect.
Devon Hilton ( 2017): Kid can really shoot the ball from the perimeter. Had three 3-pointers in the first half of Thursday’s district semifinal contest against West Plains, including one from well beyond NBA range. He and fellow 2017 Preston Naylor will get a lot of run next year as the team will look to replace a large senior class.
Josh Fronabarger (6-0, 2016): A good lead guard who is recovering from two broken wrists suffered last season. Is a heady player who has been a big part of the Aurora varsity since his freshman season. Is a standout 3-point shooter who can get hot and light up the scoreboard.
West Plains Zizzers
Christian Robbins (6-1, 2016): Stong, physical guard with terrific frame and size. Has really improved over the past year, is strong getting to the basket and has improved his ballhandling. A good outside shooter with decent mid-range game. D3/NAIA prospect.
Chase Riley (6-4, 2016): Good athlete who can run the floor, handle the ball and shoot a little from the outside. Is at his best in the open floor, finishing in transition.
Zak Adkisson (6-4, 2016): Protypical wing player with a good feel for the game and good skills. Can handle the ball a little, shoot from the outside a little and has some size.
