In the middle two quarters Cathedral outscored North Central 37-23 and still trailed at the end of the third quarter. A back and forth last quarter benefitted North Central who hit more big shots in the frame to advance, winning 58-54.

Kris Wilkes – 6’8 – Junior
Wilkes played really well in this one. He picked up fouls really quickly and got his fourth midway through the third so he sat the rest of the quarter and then once he got back in during the fourth he played smart. Wilkes was able to get to the basket with his size difference and score pretty easily when he wanted to as well which put his team in position to win.
