Jayson Tatum (Chaminade): Scored 45 points in a 80-61 victory over CBC in the Class 5 state quarterfinals. Had 33 points and 10 rebounds in a 91-61 win over Hazelwood Central in the sectional playoffs.
Jeriah Horne (Barstow): Scored 26 points in a 63-49 victory over Mountain Grove in the Class 3 state semifinals. Finished his career with a brilliant 39-point, 14-rebound performance in a 62-60 loss to Father Tolton in the state championship game.
Blake Spellman (Lee’s Summit): Scored 13 points in a 63-44 victory over Liberty North in the Class 5 state quarterfinals. Had 13 points in a 62-53 victory over Raymore-Peculiar in the sectional playoffs. Lee’s Summit is currently 29-0.
K.J. Robinson (Blue Springs South): Scored 16 points in the Jaguars’ 46-40 victory over Waynesville in the Class 5 sectionals. Had 29 points in a 91-83 loss to Kickapoo in the Class 5 state quarterfinals.
Xavier Sneed (Hazelwood Central): Scored 23 points in a 91-61 loss to Chaminade in the Class 5 sectional playoffs. Averaged 20 points a game as a senior.
Jordan Barnes (CBC): Had 18 points and five rebounds in the Cadets’ 66-51 victory over Lafayette in the Class 5 sectionals. Had 10 points and seven rebounds in a 80-61 loss to Chaminade in the state quarterfinals.
Tyler Cook (Chaminade): Had 22 points and nine rebounds in a 91-61 victory over Hazelwood Central in the Class 5 sectional playoffs.
Michael Hughes (Liberty North): Had 15 points and 10 rebounds in a 63-44 loss to Lee’s Summit in the Class 5 state quarterfinals. Had 27 points in a 57-56 win over Park Hill South in the sectionals.
