Jayson Tatum (Chaminade): Led the Red Devils to the Class 5, District 6 championship. Scored 24 points in the semifinals against Ritenour and 31 points in the championship game against Hazelwood East.
Jeriah Horne (Barstow): Scored 26 points in a 66-31 victory over Lawson in the Class 3 state quarterfinals. Barstow advanced to this weekend’s state semifinals.
Blake Spellman (Lee’s Summit): Led the Tigers to the championship of the Class 5, District 14 tournament. Scored 16 points in a championship game victory over Raytown to keep Lee’s Summit undefeated at 27-0.
K.J. Robinson (Blue Springs South): Led the Jaguars to the Class 5, District 9 championship to open defense of their state championship.
Xavier Sneed (Hazelwood Central): Led the Hawks to the Class 5, District 5 championship. Scored 24 points in the semifinals against Hazelwood West and 17 points in the finals against DeSmet.
Mike Hughes (Liberty North): Led Liberty to the Class 5, District 15 championship. Averaged 15 points in the district tournament.
Jordan Barnes (CBC): Led the Cadets to the Class 5, District 8 championship. Scored 18 points in the championship game victory over Kirkwood.
Aaron Cook (Westminster): Missed the Class 4, District 4 tournament with a shoulder injury. Finished the season with an average of 22 points a game.
