Adrion Gibson
6’3 – SG – 2016
Gibson was a big part of the game for Richmond. He shot the ball excellent and didn’t try and force it to much. He had 17 points in the first half and kept the game close. He played mostly on the inside on defense but was really able to stretch it out to the perimeter and contest shots. He could be a decent college guard who can shoot and play decent defense. – 19 points, 4 rebounds
Christian Harvey
5’10 – PG – 2018
Harvey was a bit of surprise to me in this one. He is a short point but he’s a good ball handler and a good shooter as well. He is really quick and knows how to run an offense. He is very active and aggressive on defense up top which took the guards for Muncie Central off their game a little bit. He’s a guy I am interested in watching his progression from this year to next and he could grow a few inches still. – 14 points
Muncie Central:
Andre Jones
6’6 – SF – 2016
Jones is a body of pure muscle but in this game he did not play all that great. He mainly stays on the high post and looks for an entry pass. He did not get many passes to him so he got a little frustrated but he did get his shots up off of his steals and drew a lot of contact. I would have liked to see a few more mid-range jumpers from him but I know he can make those. He will be better in college. – 8 points, 8 rebounds
Phillip Corthen
5’11 – PG – 2016
Corthen was the guy I wanted to see. He was aggressive and wasn’t shy of putting up the 3-point shot. He’s a really good shooter and could take over games from the perimeter. His size kind of hurts him but he still can find his shot. He did not score much but the fact he was driving instead of putting up 10 3-pointers was good. – 11 points, 5 rebounds
Tyrek Vicks
6′ – SG – 2017
Vicks caught my eye in this once with his athleticism. He threw down two dunks and was pretty much the most athletic guy in the game. He can shoot the ball as well and has a repeatable shot that he can hit with over the defender. He could grow a little as well and if he becomes even more offense minded he could be a really good lower level college kid. – 15 points
