Ian Kristensen
6’4 – SF – 2017
Kristensen had a solid game in this one. A forward with a little size and a strong frame, Ian does most of his work inside the three-point line where he can slash and rebound at a high-level. He went 5/9 from the field and missed a few bunnies, which is an area of his game he has to clean up. Does a good job of battling his way to the rim so has to take advantage of it. Can be worth a early look as a DIII/NAIA wing. – 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists
Charlie Warner
6’5 – SF – 2016
Warner didn’t have his best game but he was still able to make some plays and show the talent that he has. Charlie seems to play a lot of his offense off of his jump shot. When it doesn’t fall early it can be a tough night. Tonight, he went 4/12 and 1/5 from three. However, he is really good off the dribble and can be tough to defend because of his length. He’s very skilled and a matchup nightmare at the right level. – 9 points, 3 rebounds
Hamilton Heights:
Max Wahl
5’9 – PG – 2017
This is one of the better games I’ve seen from Max to this point. Without Hunter Crist, Heights has had to rely on some younger guards a little more and Max has proven he can make plays. With that said, he over shot a bit tonight and was a little free but did show he is capable of being a productive guy on the ball. Liked his mid-range pullups and quick shots early in the posession. Gives them a little speed as well in the open floor. – 10 points, 3 assists
Sterling Weatherford
6’5 – SF – 2017
Sterling is having a solid senior season and while tonight wasn’t his best game, mostly due to early foul trouble, he is continuing to stick to the things he needs to. Good inside-out guy that relies on his size and athleticism to get to the rim. Didn’t go for the deep ball as much tonight which is fine but want to see a little more attacking into the middle of the paint rather than baseline. Got a lot of points early and big reason why HH was up heading into the later stages of the game. – 11 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists
Austin Sauerteig
6’0 – PG – 2017
Like Wahl, this is the best game that I had seen from Austin to this point. Austin plays more off the ball and he likes to make plays. Hit a few big threes early in the game and that kind of catapulted his play especially down the stretch when they lost Weatherford to fouls. Austin has to learn to reel himself in a bit as he plays a little frantic at times. Great energy, though. – 15 points, 2 steals
