See is among the mid-Missouri regions most talented players, and has taken on an even bigger role this season for the ‘Jays after the graduation of talented, do-everything forward OG Anunoby, who is now a freshman for the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team.
“(See) is a good athlete and is a second-year letterman,” Jefferson City head coach Blair Thompson said. “He is the quarterback of our football team and that says a lot about his leadership skills. He has come a long way. We ask him to do a lot of different things. He started at point guard one game this year, and the past several games he has been at the 5.
“He has played both ends of the spectrum and that says a lot about his athleticism and his ability to adapt and play different positions.”
As a quarterback, See has heard from a host of schools and although he does not yet hold any offers, he has talked to coaches from Kansas State, Kansas and Missouri.
On the basketball court, See says he brings a versatile skill set at both ends of the floor, able to switch and guard multiple positions and the defensive end, and able to handle the ball on the perimeter and quarterback the offense, or play along the baseline and finish plays.
“I’m pretty versatile and I switch up positions and I can do a little bit of everything,” See said. “Offensively, my role is to shoot whenever I am open and like everybody else, to play defense and help the team in whatever way I can.”
