Jordan Cunningham to Millikin
Danville 2016 power forward Jordan Cunningham stands at 6’6” with a big upper body. He knows how to use his strength inside. The senior seals well and posts up strong in the paint. The space eater plays physical on the interior and knows how to use his body to both rebound and score. Nimble footwork for his size. Cunningham told PrepHoopsIllinois he has made his college decision and will be heading to Millikin. The state’s #19 power forward told us why.
“It just felt right. It’s close to home and it will be a good fit for me.”
His longstanding relationship with Millikin Head Coach Matt Nadelhoffer played a key factor in the choice.
“Coach and I’s relationship is really good. We have a good connection and we keep in touch with each other often. I’m excited to have the opportunity to play under Coach Nadelhoffer.”
How does he see his game fitting in their system?
“I think that I’ll fit in pretty good. I’m a good communicator and I’m willing to do what’s best for the team.”
Cunningham ran with the Illinois Irish on the travel team circuit throughout his prep career.
