District 1: Malden (21-6) vs. Caruthersville (15-8), 7:30 p.m. – Top-seeded Malden has been led by 6’5″ senior Trevor Ison, who scored 24 points in the Green Wave’s semifinal victory over New Madrid. Younger brother Tyler Ison is a talented junior guard. Caruthersville is led by high-scoring senior guard Tyrone Alston, who scored 30 points in the semifinals against Twin Rivers. (Prediction: Malden)
District 2: Charleston (19-9) vs. Saxony Lutheran (24-4), 7:30 p.m. – An excellent matchup between a perennial postseason contender in Charleston against the talented upstarts from Saxony Lutheran. Charleston has veteran leadership in senior guards Kelvondre Moore and Dontarious Sharp and some young talent in sophomores Demarcus Sharp and 6’4″ Mardareyon Clark. Saxony has a talented cast of underclassmen, led by juniors William Rogers, Corie Williams and sophomore Nathan Ruark. (Prediction: Charleston)
District 3: Park Hills Central (26-2) vs. West County (18-9), 7:30 p.m. – Park Hills Central is seeking a repeat district championship and they have an excellent senior guard in Jake Bridges along with forwards Koby Wright and Drew Harlow (Prediction: Park Hills Central).
