Hall, a 6-5 2016 wing, is not only a big part of the Blue Springs basketball team, but is a returning member of the Wilscats defending state champion track and field team.
Last week, Hall threw down several highlight-reel jams at the William Jewell Holiday Classic in Liberty (Mo.) and helped Blue Springs to a third place finish.
An explosive athlete, Hall placed second last season at the Class 5 state championships in the long jump with a jump of 21-10 and entered the event with a personal best jump of 22-06. Hall also took second in the triple jump behind Blue Springs teammates Jacob Peister.
His athleticism drew attention from several collegiate track and field programs across the nation, and in late September, Hall committed to Texas Tech where he will compete in the triple jump, long jump and high jump.
On the basketball court, Hall is the Wildcats starting 2 guard and gives Blue Springs a lockdown perimeter defender and senior leader. He is among the teams leading scorers at 14 points per game.
“I bring leadership and composure to the team,” Hall said.
“He is tremendously athletic; he can put on a pretty good dunk show in transition,” Blue Springs head coach Adam Jones said. “He is one of our best defenders as well. Between him and (Korey Wilson), they are our two primary senior leaders.”
