- With Watertown beating O’Gorman moving up was obvious. We went with Washington in the top spot though because they were number two.
- The order of head to head was good for the most part save Harrisburg beating Pierre which made things a little more difficult
- After a couple weeks we felt a team should have at least a win to be in the rankings so no room for Roosevelt or Lincoln until they get a win or two.

- Not much to talk about in Class A although who exactly to add between Vermilion and Chamberlain was tough. Chamberlain has played more games so with a better sample size we chose them although the Vermilion win over Lennox held some weight although Lennox is 1-3 so not too much.
- Little Wound is another we will watch closely to see if they will earn a top ten spot. Good start for them as well.
- Don’t forget Tea Area. Not to many 2-2 teams that are as good as them. Once those young guys grab some experience they will be winning more games against top ten teams than losing them (Dell Rapids, Dakota Valley).

- Maybe we had Irene-Wakonda pegged wrong as the preseason favorite. They were beat by 15 by Canistota who is a top four team now with White River, Warner, and Langford Area.
- With so few teams in Class B playing many games much yet touch competition yet, it was tough to really shuffle anything. Irene-Wakona moves down several spots but stays top ten of course. The margin of error among the top teams is pretty small.
- We have teams with losses but those are teams that actually played a quality early season ranked opponent.
