| Roosevelt at Washington | Logan Uttecht. A sophomore guard talent that has cracked the rotation early and has shown individual creation skills early in his young career. | Washington | The Warriors have the advantage of depth, having played a couple games already, and they have the combo of Keller/Siganos. Roosevelt will put up a fight as they have just as much experienced talent. |
| De Smet at Clark/Willow Lake | Brayden Rusher. Brayden saw some time last year and is now one of the Clark/Willow Lake playmaking guards | Clark/Willow Lake | This is where bigger, faster, stronger will get a program like De Smet which is quality (top 10 this week) with Poppinga leading but the Cyclones are huge up front and they have guards to make plays. |
| Tea Area at McCook Central/Monrose | Kylar Hansen. A junior scorer who is the top returning point producer for the Fighting Cougars. | Tea Area | Tea lost a close game over the weekend and as the home team against MCM you would have to expect that Tea, who has high expectations, wouldn’t fall again. |
| Lennox at Vermillion | Jacob Manger. Vermillion’s man in the middle returns. He stands about 6-foot-5 and will be a key piece as the team needs a body to make contact with Jacob Hinker. | Lennox | Lennox has high expectations after going to state last year but they play a team in Vermillion that has four starters back and they are the home team. Should be a close game. |
| Brookings at Yankton | Reid Sawatzke. If there was ever a guy with something to prove it’s Reid. The talented guard missed all of his junior year and watched others grab headlines and honors. | Yankton | An evenly matched set of players throughout the line-up should make for an excellent Tuesday night of action tip to final buzzer. Brookings wants to prove they are top ten, Yankton wants to stay there. Bucks win. |
| Mt Vernon/Plankinton at West Central | Hayden Schmidt, A 5-foot-10 senior guard playing next to Tate Deinert who also returns with a lot of experience. Makes a fantastic pair with Tate. | Mt/ Vernon/Plankinton | The Trojans haven’t shown much past the massive Noah Vettrus numbers and their opponents this evening have a strong group of guards. |
| St. Thomas More at Douglas | Jake Satter. An elite shooter in the state, this could be his big number night. | ST More | Douglas lost seven of their top eight plast year so it’s very likely that the Cavs will come to the base and put up some big numbers but you never know with the Patriots new talent. |
| Dakota Valley at Beresford | Logan Busch. The skilled big watched his team win just four games last season and that is something Logan is motivated to change this winter. | Dakota Valley | They defeated Tea by a point in the opener and jumped into the state rankings because of the impressive win. If they wish to stay then Dakota Valley needs to win games against a team that won 4 times a year ago. |
