Demarcus Sharp 6’0″ (Charleston ___ 2018): Smooth combo guard who scored 17 points in the Blue Jays first round win. Excellent shooting range and has a high basketball IQ to boot. Really made some nice passes to set up open teammates. Unselfish.
Cameron Hester 6’7″ (Jackson ___ 2018): One of the top young post players in the SEMO region. Nice body who can post up strong and finish quite well around the basket. Will definitely be the next standout big out of a program that is producing such players.
Armani Vermillion 5’11” (Advance ___ 2018): Excellent point guard on one of the top Class 1 teams in the state. Can really get in the lane off the dribble and has the length to finish over the top of defenders with layups and floaters. Scored 20 points in a first-round victory. Can also hit a mid-range jumper.
Austin Parker 6’4″ (Cape Girardeau Central ___ 2018): An explosive young athlete who threw down two thunderous dunks in the Tigers’ first-round victory. Very active around the basket. If he improves his overall skill set, he has a tremendous upside.
Jeremy Tucker 6’2″ (Charleston ___ 2018): Strong, athletic forward who plays much bigger than his actual size. Plays with a high motor, especially in his hot pursuit of offensive rebounds. Don’t tell him he’s just 6’2″ because he does not play like it.
Pete Lake 6’6″ (Jackson ___ 2018): Slender 6’6′ forward who possesses a good skill set for a young man his size. Also has a nice shooting touch when he steps out. As he gets physically stronger, will become even more of a factor.
Dawson Dohogne 6’3″ (Notre Dame ___ 2018): Young post player who comes from impressive bloodlines as both parents were standout ballers at Notre Dame. Uses his big body well around the basket. Gets good position and can finish around the rim.
Cole Priggel 5’10” (Oran ___ 2018): Tough guard who scored 18 points in a first round loss to Woodland. He made a living at the free throw line as he constantly drove at Woodland’s bigs and got results. Made 10 free throws. Loved his aggressiveness.
Lane Baremore 6’2″ (Meadow Heights ___ 2018): Impressive youngster who scored 12 points against Scott County Central. Scored inside on the drive and made a couple of 3-pointers. Showed good poise against Scott Central’s pressure.
Cole Shoemaker 5’9″ (Oran ___ 2019): Excellent point guard who scored 21 points in first round loss to Woodland. The coach’s son and he plays like it. Can really handle and shoot the basketball. Youngster plays with a lot of savvy.
Paul Duncan 6’6″ (Woodland ___ 2019): Long, active post player who came in and made a lot of positive things happen. Has a very nice shooting touch along the baseline and out to 15 feet. Also blocked a few shots. Just a pup now, but when he gets stronger, he is going to be quite a prospect.
