Connor Montgomery
5’10 – SG – 2017
Montgomery is a solid, lower level shooting guard. Lacks strength but put him on the perimeter with some time and he can rack up some points. He hit a couple big shots down the stretch for North. Showed his driving ability early in the game but without strength he’ll struggle against bigger guards. Good specialist from deep. – 8 points
D’Amontae Sylvain
5’9 – PG – 2017
Sylvain has a pretty quiet 15 points in this one. He’s small but has a little speed and can move well on the perimeter to create space to get his shot off over taller guards. He hit a trio of tiples and then all the other points came off of drives at the rim. – 15 points
Justice Dixon
5’10 – PG – 2016
Dixon is an intriguing player from the Pocket. He’s quick and good with the ball in his hands. Has great vision and can make the highlight reel play. Sometimes that comes with some bad turnovrs but overall he’s a plus at the point. Was assist heavy in the first half and then as North struggled to get points late in the game he took over for a quick stretch. A guy that brings energy on the court. – 16 points, 8 assists
Jadan Manion
6’6 – PF/C – 2017
Manion is going to be a name on a lot of NAIA/DIII teams radars in the next year. Decent size and a ton of strength with his frame that allows him to perform all the post moves he can come up with. He’s adept at creating shots in the post and had a ton of opportunities. He’s now got to finish them. He missed 6 straight at one point bu t- 17 points
South Bend Washington:
Bryan Givens
6’0 – PG – 2016
Givens was on a stretch of basketball in the second half that was impressive as any this year. He hit 8 straight points and about 14 in just a few minutes. He’s a solid scoring point guard with some bounce and vertical on his jumper. Good scorer from distance but not as good on the drive. Can break a press and get things setup, which is most of his game the first half. – 25 points
Lorenzo Glass
6’2 – SG – 2016
Glass is a high risk-high reward guy. He went 4/8 from the field to start the game and went silent for a long stretch in the middle. Started back up late but force most of those shots. He’s a guy that has great size and athleticism on the perimeter and he can make shots. Consistency is key with him and to keep him reeled in. If you can he has a lot of offensive help for a team.- 14 points
Kaylen Andrews
6’5 – SF/PF – 2016
Andrews was the most impressive guy all game. He’s got a solid body who could use a little extra strength but a frame that will make him a ton better. He finished at a high rate in the post even though, moving wise, he looked really comfortable on the perimeter. Can defend the 3/4/5 in a lot of games because of his agility. Could be a nice, low-risk pickup for a college.- 19 points, 12 rebounds
