A four-year varsity standout at Iberia, Frisbie said he is hoping to take his game to another level this season after a summer of work his post game.
“I’ve been working out all summer, and I feel like I am more dominant in the post than I ever have been,” he said. “I have been working on my jumpshot as well, and as a player I just feel like I am better conditionally. I have been working on my moves in the post. Learning to hit a fade away jumper after posting people up. It will all pay off this winter.
“I try to resemble my game after Shaquille O’Neal. I go back and watch his highlights and watch his moves in the paint, and what he had success doing and everything like that.”
At 6-foot-10, 280 pounds, Frisbie has helped Iberia put together Final Four runs and several big seasons during his three years.
Frisbie committed to Missouri Southern, an NCAA Division II school located in Joplin, after drawing interest from several D1 and D2 schools
“I also had looks from Wisconsin, Western Illinois, SBU, Northwestern, and Lehigh University,” he said.
