- Ben Davis (5-1) at Warren Central (3-3) – Ben Davis has been on a great start to the season and led by their pair of guards, Bush and Harper, it is going to be difficult to stop them. Warren Central has been trying to gain their footing under a new HC but they showed progress over the last week. – WINNER: Ben Davis
- Castle (4-0) at Evansville Reitz (4-0) – Castle has gotten off to the start that they needed to. Big things are expected of them this year and so far but haven’t been tested yet, not really. Reitz has exceeded expectations to this point but have also not been tested too hard. Tonight is the night for both teams. – WINNER: Castle
- Kokomo (2-2) at Marion (4-1) – Marion has been the surprise to this point of the season as they have taken care of Richmond and a tough Lawrence North team. However, they lost to a young Zionsville squad. Kokomo will be another decent team for them to beat. Last year, they probably would have lost to Kokomo. This year? – WINNER: Marion
- Lawrence Central (4-1) at Pike (5-1) – This is the game of the night in the state. Lawrence Central has been probably the strongest team to this point of the season with big wins over Carmel, Cathedral, and LN. A weird loss to Howe sticks out but they look legit. Pike is a potential matchup in Regionals for them. The Red Devils are still looking to add to the resume with only one signature win, #1 New Albany. – WINNER: Lawrence Central
- Eastern Greene (6-0) at Barr-Reeve (5-0) – Eastern Greene is a legit contender is 2A this season. They’ve been about as solid as they come in the class. They have great wins over Owen Valley, Washington, and others but Barr-Reeve is a different monster. They seem to reload each year. They have a toughness that many don’t have. This is much more of a test for Eastern Greene than Barr-Reeve. – WINNER: Barr-Reeve
- Evansville Bosse (3-1) at Washington (3-2) – Bosse is still trying to make up for an opening loss to Jeffersonville, although they are looking like a far better team with each game. Bosse is a high scoring threat and a tough matchup to stop. Washington does a good job slowing their opponents down. It is a nice challenge philosophically for each team. – WINNER: Evansville Bosse
- Fishers (3-1) vs. Hamilton Southeastern (4-1) – HSE has been solid this season and so has Fishers. They are both coming off of a loss, HSE to North Central and Fishers to Warren Central. Both teams have tough stretches of games coming up and this is a very fun matchup with the players involved and the battle for Hamilton County. As long as this isn’t a blowout either way, both teams should walk away in better position. – WINNER: Hamilton Southeastern
- Floyd Central (3-1) at Providence (4-1) – Floyd Central is legit this season with wins over Christian Academy and Bloomington South and only lost to #1 New Albany by 3 in the final minute. Providence has a great record but is unproven. They could be a legit 2A contender but this about their only true test in the first half of the season. – WINNER: Floyd Central
- Logansport (5-0) at Lafayette Jeff (6-0) – Lafayette Jeff has been the best team from Tippecanoe County to this point, having already beat McCutcheon. Logansport is another really good team and these two undefeated teams will have, what we would expect to be, a very high scoring game. Tons of offense on either side. Jeff hasn’t had anyone matchup well defensively yet, Logansport will. – WINNER: Logansport
- Martinsville (5-0) at Indian Creek (5-0) – Tim Abel of Indian Creek is the leader behind Indian Creek’s great start. Martinsville provides a different matchup problem for them as they haven’t had to deal with size yet. Martinsville has that plus some really good guards. Martinsville has the better team but don’t be shocked if this is a close one. – WINNER: Martinsville
