Monday
Greensburg (2-1) vs. Hauser (3-1) – 7:30 PM ET
-Not many games on this Monday night but Greensburg vs. Hauser should be a good one. Look for Hauser to try and get a little payback after Greensburg’s run the last four years or so. Should be a great environment.
Tuesday
Evansville North (2-1) vs. Evansville Reitz (1-0) – 8:00 PM ET
-Evansville North just missed beating Castle this weekend. That one would have gone a long way but they get a quick turnaround and another chance against Evansville Reitz. They can win this game so don’t be surprised.
South Bend Riley (4-0) vs. South Bend St. Joseph (2-1) – 7:30 PM ET
-Riley has started off hot and got back to what they were doing last year at the end. Damezi Anderson is playing well and Reontre Lawrence is contributing. SBSJ has one of the more veteran teams in the state. Could go either way in this Tuesday night match.
Warren Central (1-2) vs. Cathedral (1-1) – 7:30 PM ET
-Cathedral went into Ohio and lost to one of their best teams in Northland. Warren Central is trying to find itself a bit here under a new head coach. A lot of interesting storylines in this one.
Wednesday
Lawrence North (0-1) vs. Lawrence Central (2-0) – 7:30 PM ET
-There are only about six games in the state Wednesday night but there could be 100 and this would still be the best matchup of them all. LN vs. LC will be packed and competitive. LN just lost to Marion so expect them to come out with a little more fire.
Thursday
Fishers (3-0) vs. Warren Central (1-2) – 7:30 PM ET
-Like we said earlier, Warren Central is still finding itself but they will be looking to get one signature win this week with three great opportunities. Fishers might be the most likely of the three but that isn’t to say Fishers is going to make it easy.
Friday
Bloomington South (2-2) vs. Southport (2-1) – 7:30 PM ET
-Southport responded after losing to Merrillville and it would be hard to see them losing another game here early. Bloomington South will be a test, though. Tough guard play will be the best matchup on both sides. Brunk could have big night.
Evansville Harrison (2-1) vs. Castle (2-0) – 8:00 PM ET
-Two of the best teams from the Evansville area will matchup as Castle will try and stay unbeaten. Harrison lost badly to New Albany and I’m not sure that is a true reflection of how good this team is this year. They can make some noise.
Linton-Stockton (3-0) vs. Barr-Reeve (3-0) – 7:30 PM ET
-Getting two undefeated teams is always great and if you make it two teams that don’t like each other all that much, that is even better. Barr-Reeve lost a ton from last season but they always bring talent back. LS is in the same boat. Great teams, great matchup, great game.
New Albany (2-0) vs. Floyd Central (3-0) – 7:30 PM ET
-Floyd Central has been solid to start the year. They haven’t slipped yet but New Albany is the real deal and they are going to be a true test. Romeo Langford and company have a busy week of games so New Albany might be looking ahead. Could be a trap game.
North Central (3-0) vs. Carmel (2-1) – 7:30 PM ET
-Carmel lost to a very tough Lawrence Central team this past week. They will get some things corrected but as always, their schedule doesn’t play nice. North Central is a legit contender for a State Championship. Kris Wilkes is a tough matchup for Carmel so watch for that in this one.
Saturday
Ben Davis (3-1) vs. Terre Haute South (2-0) – 10:00 AM ET
-In the first game of the TH South Tournament, Ben Davis will try and stay hot by knocking off a very tough TH South squad. South’s best players are a pair of guards, so is Ben Davis. A little bit different style to their games so it could be interesting.
Fort Wayne Carroll (2-0) s. Columbia City (1-2) – 7:45 PM ET
-Fort Wayne Carroll is looking like a team that is going to go under the radar all season. Columbia City has had a rocky start but still provides a tough matchup with 6’7 Parker Hazen and 6’7 Brachen Hazen. Carroll is one of those teams that can matchup with that.
Fairfield (3-0) vs. NorthWood (3-1) – 7:45 PM ET
-Fairfield has gotten off to a great start, NorthWood has as well having only lost to Fishers this past weekend by a bucket. NorthWood is considered one of the best teams in 3A, Fairfield is as well. Both are in Sectional 21 and this is a potential Sectional Championship game a few months down the road.
Fort Wayne Snider (0-0) vs. Brebeuf Jesuit (3-0) – 3:00 PM ET
-There are quite a few ways this game is going to be interesting. Snider has the high-end prospects, Brebeuf does not. Snider has tons of size, Brebeuf does not. However, Brebeuf Jesuit is a good team with great guard play and a great head coach. Dualing styles of play but should be fun.
Hamilton Southeastern (4-0) vs. North Central (3-0) – 7:30 PM ET
-HSE has worked their way, grinded almost, to a 4-0 start. North Central has had an easy go of it so far. This will be the biggest test for both teams this season so the outcome could tell you a lot about the direction of one or both of them.
Cathedral (1-1) vs. Lawrence Central (2-0) – 6:45 PM ET
-Another great matchup between Sectional foes early on in the season. Eron Gordon vs. Kyle Guy. Jordan Walker vs. Mekhi Biffle. Great matchups all the way around. Going to be a really high-scoring, fun game.
New Albany (2-0) vs. Indianapolis Pike (3-1) – 5:00 PM ET
-New Albany is all about their guards. Isaac Hibbard, Romeo Langford and others have led the way for them to this point. Pike, on the other hand, is one of the premier guard-oriented teams. They run fast, and score a ton. Great test for both.
Marion (3-0) vs. Zionsville (2-1) – 7:30 PM ET
-Marion has impressed to this point having won three games and knocking off Lawrence North. Zionsville is another great test for them. Zionsville is young and is still finding its way a bit but has played outstanding regardless.
