Outlook
- Moberly: A sectional qualifier from 2015, the Spartans are off to a good start behind the play of the 6’6” Rucker, who has been putting up some monster numbers early this season. Fellow senior Denzell Hess adds more size up front.
2. Fulton: The Hornets are off to a fast start, winning five of their first six, with senior guards Kalin Mitchell and Dearyon Estes leading the way.
3. Mexico: The Bulldogs have a strong corps of seniors, led by 6’3”Malik Holman, 6’0” guard James Norton and 5’11” guard D’Milo Nunnelly
4. Boonville: The Pirates won the Centralia Invitational Tournament to begin the season. They are led by All-Conference players, 6’6” senior Ta’Vious Brazil and 6’2” junior guard Riley Lang.
5. Kirksville: Senior guard Dallin Vorkink returns after an All-Conference season in 2015. Kirksville has split their first six games.
6. Hannibal: The Pirates are led by 6’3” senior forward Dylan Powell, an All-Conference selection last season, and football standout Shamar Griffith.
7. Marshall: The Owls have an impressive youngster in 6’1” freshman Jaylen Varner and a good veteran in 6’3” senior Zach Maupin.
