ST. PAUL, Minn. – Concordia-St. Paul head men's basketball coach Joey James has announced the additions of four prep standouts to the program for the 2016-17 season. The class covers four states: Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
“We are very excited to announce our 2016 class!” exclaimed James. “I would like to thank my assistants Eric Johnson and Andrew Kuderer along with our graduate assistant Roman Gentry for all their time and hard work they put into this recruiting class.”
The team will welcome point guard Sam Siganos (Sioux Falls, S.D. / Washington HS), forward Carter Brooks (Lakeville, Minn. / Lakeville North HS), forward Max Keefe (Germantown, Wis. / Germantown HS) and center Ted Brown (West Des Moines, Iowa / Dowling Catholic HS).
“Our staff feels like we hit a 'home run' with this group of young men. These guys all come from exceptional high school programs and have been taught by terrific coaches. They will fit in well with the team that we are continuing to build here at Concordia. They all exemplify what we are looking for in a student-athlete.
“Not only are they going to impact our program, they all have great character and will represent our program well on and off the floor, in the classroom and in the community. They are all terrific kids that come from incredible families. We look forward to seeing all of them in a Golden Bear uniform next season.”
