Recruiting Report: Devonire Glass (2018)

<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Simeon 2018 small forward <strong>Devonire Glass</strong> was one of the breakout players of the NY2LA Sports Futures Camp.  The long and rangy 6’7” small forward has the look of a D1 prospect.  He proved he can put it on the deck with ease handling it through traffic and splitting defenders.  Smooth looking shot that he knocked down from mid-range with consistency and stretched it to three on occasion.  Great feel for the game and even displayed some passing instincts.  Defensively has a chance to be very good.  One of the better upside 2018 prospects in the state.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">He talked about how the camp went.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“It is going real good.  There is a lot of competition here.”</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">On the travel team circuit Glass ran with SYF.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“It went real good.  I had a great summer.  I was second team UAA All-American.”</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Glass transferred from Lighthouse Academy in Indiana to Simeon for his sophomore season.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">“I was moving back to Chicago because I am from there.  Simeon was the best school for me.”</span></span></p>
