Lynch is active around the hoop making quick cuts to receive the ball and slashes to the basket off the bounce. He handles it smooth. Plus athlete in the transition game both pushing it and as a finisher.
We recently saw him at the PrepHoopsIllinois Combine where the young wing continued to show his potential. He spoke about how the spring and summer went with the Illinois Wolves 15U.
“It went pretty good. Everyone worked hard to get looks. I think if we keep working we can get even better this year.”
Where did he see improvements in his game?
“I think my game grew by the defensive aspect. Being tough and getting up on your opponent and forcing turnovers.”
He will be coming back as a sophomore on a senior laden high school team that is pushed by Central Michigan commit Matty Smith.
“Open gyms are going pretty good. We have a good group of seniors coming back. It is going to be great for us this year.”
As a freshman Lynch played a big role, but he knows it will be even bigger this season.
“I am going to have to score more on offense and play better D.”
What is his game?
“My game is scoring in transition and getting easy buckets. Cutting and finding my teammates for easy looks.”
