Class C Preview

<p><span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size:12px">Classes C schools </span><span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size:12px">are the smallest schools but that doesn&#39;t mean there isn&#39;t talent. Just less numbers to pick from making it appear that way. In reality there is some high level basketball played on the court. Often times it lends to being top heavy in these classes but you can find some really good sleeper talent from small town programs to private schools in big areas.</span></p><p><span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size:12px">Earlier this summer, bballdemon31 wrote about some top players from classes B, C and non LHSAA teams and that can be found here: </span><u><a href="http://prephoopslouisiana.com/news_article/show/538188?referrer_id=1893557">Top 10 Class B, C and non LHSAA school 2016 prospects</a></u></p> <h2>Class C</h2><p>New Living Word won the title last year but lost a ton of talent. It&#39;ll be tough for them to repeat but in Class C, just never know. Last season they beat Atlanta in the title game. They are led by <strong>Joshua Pennywell </strong>and <strong>Lashard Powell</strong>. They will certainly want to return.</p> <p>Elizabeth lost to NLW at the Top 28 and high academic shooter <strong>Kolby Friday</strong> will likely want to avenge that loss quickly. He&#39;s one to watch in Class C. In the same district 1-C as NLW is Gibsland-Coleman and Summerfield who were both Top 6 teams last year.</p> <p>District 8-C with Jehovah-Jireh (2018 PG <strong>Donald Johnson</strong>) and Family Christian will be one to watch as well. Teams like Sicily Island, Pleasant Hill, and Phoenix always have talent as well.</p>
