Thoughts. Milnor did not lose much from last year’s class and Marlatt and Olsen and solid talents returning after the leading the team a year ago. Now you add in the talent from North Sargent and this is an instant contender especially with Hansen controlling the ball. This year with the teams doing the co-op for the first time they will be more experienced, they will be deep, and overall talent wise they are in great shape.
Northern Cass
Returning Starters. Cody Springer (6-2, SF, 12), Logan Nelson (5-11, SG, 11), Brany Bohmert (5-11, G, 11)
Returning Bench Players. Dawsen Hayden (6-0, G, 12) , Nick Nelson (6-1, SF, 11)
New Talent. Brady Munro (6-5, C, 12), Marcus Jensen (6-4, PF, 10), Isaiah Aaseby (5-10, PG, 10)

Thoughts. They bring back arguably the best two players on the team in Springer and Nelson. While Brandon Bohmert is a loss, this is a four loss team that returns an excellent senior scorer in Springer and Nelson who was one of the better shooters we saw this summer. They have some size that is a bit raw but can be used as well.

Returning Starters.
Returning Bench Players. Jaxson Dangerfield (5-5, PG, 12), Nate Young (6-1, F, 12), Devon Foster (6-4, F, 11)
New Talent. Bryce Bakkegard (6-1, SF, 11), Jimmy Slagle (5-10, G, 11), Andrew Christianson (5-9, F, 10)

Thoughts. They lost a senior group that led the team to a state title two years ago and 23 wins this season. Foster is a guy that we like from the junior class and there are some other solid players that saw some time last year but there is so much to replace and this is 100 percent a whole new era of basketball for this Fargo program.
Richland
Returning Starters. Devin Flaa (6-1, PF, 12), Trevor Flaa (5-11, PG, 12), Brady Heyen (5-8, PG, 12)
Returning Bench Players. Nathan Myers (5-8, PG, 12), Reed Rufer (6-2, F, 12)
New Talent. Cooper Lingen (5-9, G, 11) Forest Evanson (6-3, F, 11)

Thoughts. They were 10-12 last year but could flip that record around after returning a couple starters and a part timer. We like Heyen and the Flaas so we see them above .500 but how far above .500 depends on how well they gel.
Sargent Central
Returning Starters. Brock Bergh (6-1, G, 12), Luke Parrow (5-11, G, 12), Matt Colemer (6-2, C, 11), Drew Wittich (6’3, PF, 11)
Returning Bench Players. Adam Minarik (6’1, F, 12)
New Talent. Travis Askerooth (6-0, F, 11), Quinn Lock (5’9, F, 12)

Thoughts. Bring back four starters and Bergh is a nice player but we don’t see a big jump. They should win more games but in terms of the level of the team it should be quite similar.
Wyndmere/Lindgerwood
Returning Starters. Adolfo Vasquez (6-4, F, 12)
Returning Bench Players. Colson Barton (5-10, PG, 12), Alix Wisnewski (6-0, G, 11),
New Talent. Wyatt Harles (6-2, G, 10)

Thoughts. Vasquez is a strong and agile three sport athlete excelling on the hardwood, gridiron, and in track and field. Very nice athlete that could step forward and surprise some people. He’s back but the team lost four very good seniors and while there is experience back, there are a lot of guys that must fill new roles for them to reach 16 wins again.
