<h2>September 14, 2015</h2><p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">When you first see Terrebonne high school take the court you immediately pick out <a href="http://prephoopslouisiana.com/prospect-profiles-2016-emonie-nelson#"><strong>Emonie Nelson</strong></a>. He is physically imposing for a high school athlete and he has game to match it. With an increased motor the sky is the limit for Emonie.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">We had a chance to watch Emonie a couple times over the summer including at LSU’s team camp. Emonie has the potential to play low major division 1 if he puts in a ton of work and takes his game to the next level, if not he will most likely end up at a lower level or Junior College. We asked Emonie a few questions and here were his responses.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“What do you consider to be the strong points in your game? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“My height, weight and size. I'm quick for my size. High IQ on the court love giving assists to my teammates too.” </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">What colleges have reached out and expressed interest in you? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“UNO, Cornell, LSU at Alexandria and some colleges invited me to their camps like LA Tech , Tulane, Northwestern, Southern and ULL . Juco: Allan Hancock College, Reedley, Sierra, Kilgore.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">What parts of your game are you working on this fall to make you a better player? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“I'm working on being more versatile.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">During the game what do you try to focus on doing Offensively? Defensively? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“On offensive just sealing off the lane and getting open looks to the basket. And defensive mostly rebounds, blocking shots and taking charges.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">How do you believe your role will change this high school season for your team? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“A lot! Last year I was hurt half of the season but now I'm good. Running the floor and crashing the board most definitely.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">How tall are you and what skills at that height do you think impressed college coaches this summer? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“I'm 6'6 maybe my long body just putting it up and me being quick from the baseline attacking it. But me and Key or DD will be picking and rolling all game.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">What is your GPA and have you taken the ACT yet and if so what is your highest score so far? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“A 2.7 and not yet I plan on taking it this semester.”</span></span></p>
