The 2016 point guard now has a new head coach in Brian Terwilliger formerly the assistant coach at LSUA. The Eagles have a strong team coming in and a fresh new philosophy.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">Carbo has emerged as the leader for Menard and with much responsibility comes much pressure as well. He can be one of the breakout players in the CENLA area with a strong senior season. We asked Briggs a few questions and this is how it went.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">What do you consider to be the strong points in your game?</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“My speed is a strong point, I can break the press and get the ball up the floor.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">What colleges have reached out and expressed interest in you?</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“None.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">What parts of your game are you working on this fall to make you a better player? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“Getting shots up, finishing with contact.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">During the game what do you try to focus on doing Offensively? Defensively? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“I try to get our team to play one way, which is running our offense, playing together, keep spacing, move off the ball. Defensively I set the tempo, up in your grill type of defense.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">How do you believe your role will change this high school season for your team?</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“I believe I am the leader of the team this year. Especially as the quarterback (point guard) it's my job to lead these guys.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">How tall are you and what skills at that height do you think impressed college coaches this summer?</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“5'10" my speed and pace of the game. How well I know the game.”</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">What is your GPA and have you taken the ACT yet and if so what is your highest score so far? </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif"><span style="font-size:12pt">“GPA is 3.6 took the ACT but haven't gotten results back yet.”</span></span></p>
